You are Josephine Garland, a Knight of the Inquisition. It is your duty to cleanse the land of the blasphemous arcane wielding heretics in the name of the Silent God.

Your work has you hunt down those who would defy the Silent God's will... and mete out bloody justice with a swift stroke of your sword.

Now, the tables have turned. All that you knew is gone in a bizarre twist. You turn from hunter to prey and flee as a curse put upon you sees fabric turn to flesh and bay lustily for your blood.

Is this a test from the Silent God? A curse formed from your own bloodstained hands? Will you ever escape this theatre of nightmares?

This game features depictions of blood and gore.

There are body horror elements including scenes of graphic, fictional decapitation, maiming, dismemberment and general bloody violence.

Only play the game if you are not adverse to seeing these.

Game Features

• Unique Curse progression mechanic which scales game difficulty depending on player's game style and actions.
• Atmospheric, top down 2D RPG dungeon crawler style gameplay set against the backdrop of an eerie otherwordly theatre.
• Popular Fear and Hunger inspired battle mechanics such as removal of body parts.
• Current average playtime ~ 30mins - 1 hour.

Known Issues

• The damage log will sometimes display a different number to the actual damage done. I am searching for a fix.
• The enemy map sprites will sometimes display their collapsed state when the player collides with them in particular. Not sure what the issue is, but working on a fix.
• Although I have included a browser option for those who wish to play that way it is highly recommended to play the download version. The game utilizes various lighting and filters and so performance is at it's best when played via the game.exe file.
